It's December and Christmas is coming up. The last time I met my sons in person were in December 2019 and I want to see them again. Beginning of October the travel restriction in Japan were eased and we took a chance to apply for a visa. Here is our story.

World's Longest Wooden Pedestrian Bridge | Horai Bridge
Horai Bashi or Horai Bridge is the longest wooden pedestrian bridge and it is in the Guinness Book of Records. The interesting thing is that it was built in 1879 and there is a very good story to it.

No. 1 Autumn Viewing Spot in Kyoto
In Japan hat die Regierung die GoTo Travel Initiative in das Leben gerufen um die Wirtschaft anzukurbeln. Es gibt großartige Angebote und wir haben eins davon gebucht. Kyoto ist ein Traum, gerade jetzt, da es keine ausländische Touristen gibt. Die Hauptsaisons sind Kirschblüte, Festivals und natürlich Herbst und Winter. Ich habe nicht damit gerechnet an diesem Tag so viele Menschen dort vorzufinden. Alle, natürlich, wie soll es auch anders sein, mit Maske.
