Apartment Rückgabe Tokio | Leben in Japan

Hallo, heute erzähle ich von der Apartment Rückgabe in Tokio. Wir hatten von April 2022 bis Anfang August 2023 ein Apartment in Takadanobaba in Tokio gemietet und heute war der Tag an dem wir es zurückgegeben haben. Wie hoch war unsere Miete in Takadanobaba? Endlich wieder Fuji Rock Festival 2022 (YT Deutsch)

Endlich wieder Fuji Rock Festival in 2022.

Hallo, mein Name ist Martina und ich lebe in Japan, #Japan ist mein Zuhause weil mein Mann Japaner ist. 

Heute zeige ich euch Ausschnitte von einem Rock Festival in Niigata, eigentlich heisst es Fuji Rock Festival und wurde vor Jahren in der Nähe von Mount Fuji abgehalten. 

Das erste Festivals fand 1997 statt und war das erste Outdoor oder Freilicht Rock Festival in Japan, es endete in einer Fehlschlag wegen eines Taifuns und schlechter Planung. Das Festival wurde im Skigebiet Tenjinyama in der Nähe des Berges Fuji  (daher der Name) abgehalten. Ein Jahr später wurde es in Tokio abgehalten, wer die heißen Sommer in Japan kennt und evtl. einen Sommer in Tokio verbracht hat, weiß wie heiß es werden kann. 1999 fand das Fuji Rock Festival das erste Mal in Naeba, Niigata statt. Das Gebiet liegt in der malerischen Berglandschaft von Naeba und ist ebenfalls bekannt für Wintersport und Besichtigung von Herbstfarben. 

 Die Anwohner in der Nähe von Fuji San haben sich wegen Lärmbelästigung beschwert und es wurde nach Niigata verlegt. Der zweite Teil folgt nächste Woche welches euch durch eine Waldlandschaft führt

Fukushima Power Plant close proximity 2022

Hello My name is Martina. I am from North Germany and living in Japan since 2006 on and off. I report about my Life in Japan on this channel with a focus on travel destinations in #Japan. We are going in to close proximity of Fukushima Nuclear Power plant and want to visit The Great East Japan Earthquake and Nuclear Disaster Memorial Museum. Which is only 6 km away and 12 min by car. So you can believe my surprised when I heard that Fukushima Prefecture is planning to have a trial session starting 16 April for Tourist to visit Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. We were curious and started to do a little research. The obvious first: Radiation level, according to this website https://www.japan-guide.com/list/e120.... Quote: The no-entry zone around the nuclear plant makes up less than 3% of the prefecture's area, and even inside most of the no-entry zone, radiation levels have declined far below the levels that airplane passengers are exposed to at cruising altitude. Needless to say, Fukushima is perfectly safe for tourists to visit. Wide areas of western Fukushima, in particular, escaped much contamination, including the mountainous interior around the historic city of Aizu Wakamatsu. And even in most of the eastern parts of the prefecture, radiation levels have by now decreased to pre-2011 levels due to natural decay and decontamination effort Needless to say we were still worried and we traveled during the month of February. So, we decided to check the area out. Our mode of transport was our car and we started in Matsushima, I will link the video above. On the highway signs appeared indicating the radiation level, very spooky for my taste. We stopped at a rest station on the motorway and found lots of Fukushima souvenirs and introduction to Fukushima Prefecture in general.

Trees turning to snow monsters Japan

We visited Zao Onsen to see the famous snow monsters of Yamagata and that was an experience you hardly forget. First of all, even with snow tires, we had lots of difficulties to reach our hotel, which was located on a steep mountain. I took us a while to bring our car up, we were so tired. Later that day we went up with the #zao ropeway to the Snow Monsters. Icy cold temperature of -10 C but with strong winds it was like -20 C. The trees were all covered with a thick snow layer and frozen in time, called Juhyo in Japan or frozen tree. Atmospheric conditions creates a cycle of ice accumulation which leads to the appearance of this surreal towering monsters. Illuminated at night gives this landscape a ghostly atmosphere if there wasn't the howling wind, reminding you that this is reality.

Today I will talk about the 3.11 Densho Road, if you translate Densho Road, it means teaching the next generation about something or telling the next generation about something. In this case about the Great Eastern Earthquake and Tsunami in March 2011. We recently visited Matsushima and explored the surrounding areas and found this unnamed landmark, which brought our attention to the 3.11 Densho Road and I will talk a little bit about it. If you travel to Japan and you are interested, I believe this is a good way to start to read about the Densho Road project. Third best scenic landscape in Japan

Today I will talk about …

Did you ever asked yourself what Japanese think is the most scenic spot in Japan? This differs from the actually top sightseeing area tourists coming to visit in Japan. Today’s video is about Matsushima which belongs to the top three scenic spots in Japan according to https://tabicoffret.com/article/79674/index.html

Tabicoffure. How this got my attention? My husband is the planner for most of my travel.

The hotel we are staying in is run by an older couple with two dogs. During the 2011 Great Eastern Earthquake the hotel was damaged and since then the lift is not working. The repair cost are horrific high, 10,000,000¥. A sum the owner cannot afford. So we had to carry our luggage to the third floor, which was exhausting. Our room for three people was big enough with a beautiful view to the sea. We were happy. The bath is small but in Japan it is custom to use the public bath or onsen. Matsushima sees less visitors since the Covid-19 pandemic and hotels are not yet accustomed to regular visitors. We belong to the sporadic customers and there is no breakfast or dinner available in the hotel. So we explored the neighborhood and found this cute Sushi Bar in a residential house, run by a former Sushi Chef and his wife. An absolute insider Tip.
